Can I use Dishwashing Liquid as hand soap?Updated 10 days ago
TL;DR: Dishwashing Liquid is dermatologically tested and certified as gentle on skin during normal dishwashing use, but it is formulated for dishes, not for use as a regular hand wash.
Certified gentle, but not a hand soap
Dermatologically tested
Dishwashing Liquid has been dermatologically tested by Dermatest and holds current certification for being gentle on skin. It is also approved by the Eczema Association and Sensitive Choice, confirming it is suitable for sensitive users during normal dishwashing use.
Why it is not a hand soap
It is still an enzymatic cleaner. The enzymes that make it effective on food residue and grease (including enzymes that target protein) are not designed for frequent use on skin. It also does not include the pH-balancing or moisturising ingredients you would find in a dedicated hand soap.

Soak, don't scrub
Koh Dishwashing Liquid is enzyme-powered. Fill the sink, soak your dishes, and let the formula lift grease and food soils for you.
