Can I use Dishwashing Liquid as hand soap?Updated 4 hours ago
TL;DR: No. Dishwashing Liquid is dermatologically tested and certified gentle on skin during normal dishwashing use, but it's formulated for dishes, not for use as a regular hand wash.

Can I use it as hand soap?
✓ Dermatologically tested
Dishwashing Liquid has been dermatologically tested by Dermatest and holds current certification for being gentle on skin. It's also approved by the Eczema Association and Sensitive Choice, confirming it's suitable for sensitive users during normal dishwashing use.
⚠ Why it's not a hand soap
It's still an enzymatic cleaner. The enzymes that make it effective on food residue and grease (including enzymes that target protein) aren't designed for frequent use on skin. It also doesn't include the pH-balancing or moisturising ingredients you'd find in a dedicated hand soap.

Soak, don't scrub
Dishwashing Liquid is enzyme-powered. Fill the sink, soak your dishes, and let the formula lift grease and food soils for you.
