Why isn't the Dishwashing Tab dissolving?Updated 4 hours ago
TL;DR: Dishwashing Tabs are wrapped in biodegradable PVA film that's designed to dissolve completely in the wash. If you're seeing leftover film or residue, it's almost always a placement, temperature, or water-flow issue, not the tab itself.

What should I check first?
Placement
Standard or auto cycles: place in the dispenser. Short or eco cycles: place flat on the tub floor under the lower spray arm.
Temperature
Use a hotter cycle (55 to 65 degrees) to help the film dissolve fully.
Water flow
Make sure spray arms spin freely and filters are clean.
What if the tab is stuck or not dissolving?
✓ Before loading
Handle tabs with dry hands. Make sure the dispenser compartment is completely dry before loading. Moisture can cause the tab to stick or dissolve prematurely.
✓ Try these steps
Check nothing's blocking the dispenser lid from opening (tall items, protruding handles).
Try placing the tab directly on the tub floor instead of in the dispenser.
Switch to a hotter or longer cycle to see if that improves dissolution.
