Koh products are tested against five independent certification programs, with different products carrying different combinations depending on their category and the criteria each program covers. GECA (Good Environmental Choice Australia) is Australia's only multi-sector ecolabel. Universal Cleaner has been GECA certified continuously since April 2016, Loo Cleaner Tabs since July 2023, and Dishwashing Tablets since March 2023. Sensitive Choice is a program of the National Asthma Council Australia (NACA) that screens for ingredients that may aggravate asthma symptoms, carried by most of the cleaning and laundry range. Dermatest is an independent dermatological testing institute that assesses skin tolerance under a published protocol, carried by Bathroom & Shower Cleaner, Kitchen Grease & Oil Cleaner, Dishwashing Liquid, Sensitive Laundry Liquid, 60 Wash Laundry Liquid, Stain Remover, and Sensitive Laundry Sheets. Allergy UK runs a Seal of Approval program for allergen suitability, currently held by Universal Cleaner. Eczema Association certifies products as suitable for eczema-prone skin, currently held by Universal Cleaner, Bathroom & Shower Cleaner, Kitchen Grease & Oil Cleaner, and Dishwashing Liquid. Bathroom & Shower Cleaner won the Canstar Blue Customer Satisfaction Award for Bathroom Cleaner in both 2025 and 2026, two years in a row. Canstar Blue runs annual consumer-research awards across product categories in Australia, surveying thousands of Australians on their experience with brands they've actually used. The award reflects customer satisfaction across categories including overall satisfaction, value for money, performance, scent, and packaging design. Canstar no longer runs a Multipurpose Cleaner category, which Koh's Universal Cleaner won previously. Awards are based on independent consumer research and are not paid placements.

Canstar Blue no longer runs a Multipurpose Cleaner category. Universal Cleaner won that category in 2022 and 2023, the first brand to win Canstar Blue Multipurpose Cleaner two years in a row.

Two active partnerships. Plastic Rescue: since April 2024, every Koh order funds the rescue of the equivalent of 3 × 500mL ocean-bound plastic bottles through our partnership with Greenspark and Plastic Bank. Plastic Bank operates in coastal communities in Haiti, Brazil, the Philippines, and Indonesia, where collectors receive a fair price for the plastic they collect, helping them provide for their families. The collected plastic is reintegrated into products and packaging as part of a closed-loop supply chain. Good360: Koh is a partner of Good360 and donates new cleaning supplies each year, distributed by Good360 to charities, schools, and people in need across Australia. Between 2020 and 2024, Koh also partnered with Eden Reforestation Projects, planting one tree per order over that period, that program has now ended.

Most cleaning brands sell single-use spray bottles you throw out and replace. Koh is built around refillable packaging and replaceable parts. Universal Cleaner ships in a 2L or 4L bag-in-box you decant from. Bathroom & Shower Cleaner ships the same way. Dishwashing Liquid is dispensed via the Dish Pump. Sensitive Laundry Liquid is dispensed via the Laundry Pump. The bottles, pumps, and trigger heads are designed to last well beyond a single fill. If something does break, individual replacement parts including foamer trigger heads, atomiser trigger heads, mop bottles, dish pump nozzles, and laundry pump caps are listed in the spare parts catalogue. Cleaning bottles and bag-in-box outer packaging are kerbside recyclable in standard Australian council collections. The goal is to reduce the number of times a customer has to throw out and replace a cleaning tool. Sustainability often starts with a simple fix.
