What is the Hand Wash Pump made of?
The bottle and the head are both built for repeated refilling over the long term, not single use. The 350 ml bottle is made in China and refills from the 1.5 L bag-in-box.

What is the Reloop additive?
Reloop is an additive built into the bottle's plastic compound at manufacture. It does not change how the bottle performs, or how long it lasts on your basin.
In a microbe-rich environment such as landfill or soil, the additive is designed to draw microbes to the plastic so they can break down its molecular structure over time. That is what the technology is intended to do.
Independent test methods for additive-assisted plastic breakdown are still debated, so Koh describes the mechanism rather than promising a timeframe or a result.
Unlike plastics engineered to break down while you are still using them, a Reloop bottle is built to stay stable and fully functional for its whole working life. The additive only responds to those disposal conditions.
