How do I clean, dry, and care for them so they last?Updated 2 days ago
TL;DR: Rinse and wring your Swedish Dishcloth after each use and air-dry flat or hanging. Sanitise periodically in the dishwasher, by boiling, or on a gentle machine wash. Replace after about three months of daily use.
After each use
Rinse thoroughly under running water.
Squeeze out excess moisture and hang or lay flat to air-dry.
Sanitise periodically
Dishwasher
Place on the top rack during a normal cycle.
Boil
Submerge in boiling water for 2 to 3 minutes, then air-dry.
Gentle machine wash
Wash at 30º C or below with Sensitive Laundry Liquid or Sensitive Laundry Sheets.
When to replace
Lifespan
Fibres will naturally break down after about three months of daily use. Proper care extends the cloth's life to this full lifespan.
Signs to replace
Look for thinning or tearing. Time for a fresh cloth when absorbency or durability declines.
