How do I remove Spray Mop Bottle?Updated a day ago
TL;DR: Spray Mop Bottle can fit snugly in the holster, especially with a brand new unit. Lay the mop flat on a stable surface, hold the holster steady with one hand, and twist the bottle back and forth while pulling outward. If it still won't budge, check the silicone cap inside the holster.
How do I remove the bottle from Spray Mop?
✓ Four steps
Lay the mop flat. A table or kitchen bench works well. Better control than trying to remove the bottle while the mop is upright.
Hold the holster firmly. One hand on the holster section where Spray Mop Bottle clips in.
Twist and pull. Other hand on the bottle. Twist back and forth while pulling outward to break the seal.
Lever if needed. The back of a spoon or similar flat tool gently levers the bottle away at the connection point. Steady pressure. Don't force it.
What if the bottle is still stuck?
✓ Check the silicone cap
Most-likely cause. The silicone cap inside the holster can shift out of position over time and jam the fit. Look inside the holster opening and check whether the cap is sitting flush. If it's loose or out of place, use tweezers to carefully reposition it.
✓ Snug is normal
The holster is designed to grip the bottle firmly so it doesn't rattle during use. Brand new units may feel tighter at first. The fit eases slightly over time.
⚠ Still stuck after all of the above?
If the silicone cap looks fine and the bottle won't budge, the unit may be defective. Spray Mop comes with a 12-month warranty from purchase date.

Direct-swap spare. Slots into your existing Spray Mop without any tools or extra setup. Useful if your bottle is damaged or you want a backup.
