How do I use Spray Mop?Updated a day ago

Fill Spray Mop Bottle with diluted Universal Cleaner. Click the bottle into the holster on the mop body. Stick a Mop Pad to the underside of the plate (the pad attaches with hook-and-loop tabs). Squeeze the trigger on the handle to release a fine spray as you mop, then sweep the pad over the floor in slow back-and-forth strokes. Aim for one trigger pull per 1 to 2 sqm of floor to avoid over-wetting and streaks.

Spray Mop comes with two Mop Pad types. Green Deep Clean Pads have a heavier microfibre weave that grips and lifts dirt, ideal for stuck-on grime, post-spill cleanup, and weekly deep cleans. Blue Everyday Pads have a lighter weave for daily light cleans, kitchen tile maintenance, and high-traffic areas where you mop often. Both pads are premium microfibre and machine washable. Wash on a 40 degree cycle or cooler. Don't tumble dry. Rotate pads regularly because a clean dry pad cleans more effectively than a soiled wet one.

Streaks usually mean too much solution on the floor or a saturated pad. Reduce trigger pulls to one per 1 to 2 sqm. Rotate to a fresh dry pad if the current one feels heavy or wet to the touch. If the mop feels difficult to push, the green Deep Clean Pad may be creating too much friction on certain floors. Switch to the blue Everyday Pad for easier movement on smooth tiles, sealed timber, and laminate.

Only fill Spray Mop Bottle with diluted Universal Cleaner or plain water. Don't add citrus-based essential oils because they can degrade the plastic over time. Don't use other detergents, bleach solutions, or oil-based cleaners. Universal Cleaner is the only Koh product calibrated for floors and the bottle's plastic compatibility.
