How do you wash Universal Cloths?Updated 4 hours ago

TL;DR: Separate colours, wash ≤ 60° C with Sensitive Laundry Liquid, no bleach or softener, and line-dry. Follow these steps and each cloth can last up to 3,000 washes.

Wash settings

  • Temperature: Cool-to-warm cycle max 60° C.
  • Detergent: Sensitive Laundry Liquid.
    • No bleach or fabric softener. Both coat the fibres and kill absorbency.
  • Load: Wash coloured cloths separately from whites to prevent dye transfer.

Drying

  • Preferred: Line-dry in open air.
  • Optional: Tumble-dry on low; high heat will flatten microfibre loops.

Quick care tips

  1. Rinse cloths after use to remove cleaner residue.
  2. Wring gently (no hard twisting) to keep loops intact.
  3. Store fully dry to prevent odour-causing bacteria.
  4. Wash in Eco Laundry Bag to extend life and trap microplastics.

Sticking to these guidelines keeps microfibre blend performing at its best wash after wash.
