TL;DR: No. They're separate products. The old Universal Dish Spray was replaced by Dishwashing Liquid (a thicker, sink-soak formula). Kitchen Grease & Oil Cleaner is the foaming sprayer option in the current range, made for greasy kitchen surfaces (stovetops, rangehoods, oven doors, BBQs, pots, pans, baking trays). Is Kitchen Grease & Oil Cleaner the same as the old Universal Dish Spray?

No. They're separate products. The old Universal Dish Spray (also sold as Universal Dish Liquid) was a foaming sprayer for hand dishwashing. It was replaced by the current Koh Dishwashing Liquid, a thicker concentrated formula made for sink-soak or dish wand use. Kitchen Grease & Oil Cleaner is a separate product designed specifically for greasy kitchen surfaces (stovetops, rangehoods, oven doors, BBQs, pots, pans, baking trays). How do I use it?

Fill a Foaming Spray Bottle with Koh Kitchen Grease & Oil Cleaner. Spray foam directly onto the greasy surface (or onto a cloth or mitt for tighter spaces). Let it sit at least 15 minutes for normal grease, longer for heavy buildup. Wipe with a Dish Sponge, Swedish Dishcloth, Universal Cloth, Scrubby Pad, or Grout Brush for stubborn areas. Rinse thoroughly. For dishes, cookware, and food-contact surfaces, always rinse before next use because Kitchen Grease & Oil Cleaner is not food-grade.

Wait. Let the foam sit at least 15 minutes for normal grease. Longer (up to 30 minutes) for heavy buildup or baked-on residue.

Wipe. Use a Dish Sponge, Swedish Dishcloth, Universal Cloth, Scrubby Pad, or Grout Brush for stubborn areas. Buff with a clean cloth for streak-free finish.

Rinse. For dishes, cookware, and food-contact surfaces, always rinse thoroughly. Kitchen Grease & Oil Cleaner is not food-grade.
