TL;DR: Dish Pump ships locked. Remove the pump head, hold the white reservoir, then twist both in opposite directions (pump head anti-clockwise, reservoir clockwise) to unlock. Prime with a few presses.

How do I unlock it?

Remove the pump head from the bottle.
Hold the white reservoir firmly with one hand.
Grip the pump head and turn it anti-clockwise. At the same time, twist the white reservoir clockwise. If the head feels like it spins endlessly, keep twisting and give it a small upward tug to break the factory air-seal.
How do I prime it on first use?

Once the pump head is raised, press down a few times until liquid begins dispensing. The first few pumps may be dry while the dispenser draws product up the tube.
⚠ If it still won't open
Try a firmer upward pull while twisting anti-clockwise. Make sure you're twisting the pump head, not the entire lid or bottle. If the pump is open but not dispensing, keep pressing to fully prime it.
