What materials is Ultra Pro Cloth made from?Updated a day ago
TL;DR: Ultra Pro Cloth is a dense 1000 GSM microfibre blend (80% polyester, 20% polyamide) in a loop-cut knit, trimmed with faux-suede edging and finished with a nano-silver antibacterial treatment.
Fabric and weave
Microfibre body
1000 GSM, twisted loop-cut pile. 80% polyester for structure and durability, 20% polyamide for extra softness and moisture-wicking. Circular knit loops create a plush, streak-free finish.
Edge finish
Bound in faux-suede to prevent fraying without risking scratches on delicate surfaces.
Antibacterial treatment
Infused with nano-silver particles that inhibit bacterial growth, helping the fabric stay fresher between washes and reducing odour build-up.
Why this construction
Performance
Loop-pile density maximises surface area for liquid uptake and dust trapping. Polyamide ratio boosts absorbency and glide versus all-polyester cloths. Silver treatment extends usable time before laundering, ideal for high-use cleaning sessions.
Care reminder
Wash at a maximum of 40 degrees with Sensitive Laundry Liquid or Sensitive Laundry Sheets. No fabric softener or bleach. Line-dry or tumble on low.
