Why Isn't My Koh Spray Bottle Working?Updated 4 days ago
TL;DR: If your Koh spray bottle is dribbling, blocked, or not spraying, start with a nozzle clear and check you're using a compatible fill. If the issue persists, contact support with a short video and photos and we'll arrange a replacement.
Step 1 - Identify your bottle
Koh has three spray bottle types. The fix may differ depending on which you have:
- Foaming Spray Bottle - green trigger, produces foam
- Atomiser Spray Bottle - translucent-white trigger, produces a fine mist
- Spray Mop Bottle - attaches to the Koh Spray Mop
Step 2 - Clear the nozzle
A blocked nozzle is the most common cause of dribbling or weak spray output.
- Remove the bottle head and rinse the foamer or spray head under warm running water.
- Pump clean water through the mechanism several times until the spray is clear and consistent.
- Reattach and test.
If the trigger feels stiff or the output is still uneven after clearing, the mechanism may be faulty - skip to Step 4.
Step 3 - Check your fill
Using an incompatible product can block or damage the spray mechanism. Not all Koh products are foamer-compatible.
Foaming Spray Bottle - compatible fills
- For bathroom foam: Bathroom & Shower Cleaner
- For kitchen foam: Kitchen Grease & Oil Cleaner
- For laundry pre-treat: Stain Remover
Discontinued products - what replaced them
- Universal Laundry Liquid has been discontinued. It has been replaced by Sensitive Laundry Liquid, which is dispensed via the Laundry Pump only - it is not compatible with the Foaming Spray Bottle.
- Universal Dish Spray has been discontinued. It has been replaced by Dishwashing Liquid, dispensed via the Dish Pump and paired with Swedish Dishcloths.
Step 4 - Still not working?
If the bottle is relatively new and the issue persists after clearing the nozzle and confirming the fill, it may be a fault. Contact our support team with the following:
- A short video showing the issue (dribbling, no output, weak spray)
- A photo of the bottle and trigger
- Your order details or the email address on your account
We'll assess and arrange a replacement where applicable.
