Both Sensitive Hand Wash and Sensitive Body Wash are cruelty-free. No animal testing is carried out on the finished washes, and none on the ingredients that go into them.

Cruelty-free covers two things here, and they're worth separating because plenty of labels only cover the first. The finished washes aren't tested on animals, and neither are the individual ingredients that go into them.

The skin testing that does happen is done on people who've volunteered for it. That's what HRIPT means: Human Repeat Insult Patch Test, a panel of volunteers wearing the product under patches over several weeks while dermatologists check the skin. Both washes hold current HRIPT certification, and both are recognised by the Eczema Association of Australasia.
