Can I pre-soak clothes with Sensitive Laundry Liquid?Updated 5 hours ago
TL;DR: Yes. Add 2 pumps (8mL) of Sensitive Laundry Liquid to 5 litres of lukewarm water, soak garments up to 2 hours, then wash as normal. Helps break down stubborn stains before the main cycle. ⚠ Not for wool, silk, or other animal fibres.
How do I pre-soak?
Pre-soak steps
Fill a tub, sink, or bucket with 5 litres of cool to lukewarm water (not hot).
Add 2 pumps (8mL) of Sensitive Laundry Liquid and mix through.
Submerge garments fully and soak for up to 2 hours.
Wash as normal in your machine using your usual dose.
✓ Why pre-soaking helps
Pre-soaking gives the enzyme system more contact time with stubborn or set-in stains before the main wash. Soaking longer than 2 hours doesn't add benefit and can stress the fabric. Hot water degrades enzymes and can set protein-based stains, so use cool or lukewarm only.
⚠ Not for wool, silk, or other animal fibres
The enzymes in Sensitive Laundry Liquid can break down protein-based fibres, longer soak times make this worse. Avoid wool, silk, cashmere, alpaca, mohair, angora, rayon/viscose, and linen. Hand-wash these with a wool-and-silk-specific detergent instead.

Around 60 washes per box. Sensitive Choice approved, Dermatest tested. Septic and grey water safe. Made in Victoria, Australia.
