Can I use Sensitive Laundry Liquid for hand washing?Updated 3 hours ago
TL;DR: Yes, for cottons, linens, and synthetics. Use 4 pumps (16mL) of Sensitive Laundry Liquid per 5 litres of cool to lukewarm water. Soak, gently agitate, rinse well. ⚠ Not for wool, silk, cashmere, alpaca, or other animal fibres, the enzymes can break down protein-based fabrics.
⚠ Not for wool, silk, or other animal fibres
The enzymes in Sensitive Laundry Liquid can break down protein-based fibres regardless of whether you machine or hand wash. Avoid on wool, silk, cashmere, alpaca, rayon/viscose, and linen, hand-wash these with a wool-and-silk-specific detergent instead.
How do I hand wash with it?
Steps 1 to 3
Fill a basin with cool to lukewarm water (avoid hot, it can degrade enzymes and set protein stains).
Add 4 pumps (16mL) of Sensitive Laundry Liquid per 5 litres of water and mix through.
Add garments. Soak 10 to 30 minutes for tougher stains, then gently agitate by hand. No scrubbing or twisting.
Steps 4 and 5
Rinse thoroughly with clean water until it runs clear.
Gently squeeze out excess water (don't wring), then dry per the garment care label.
