When does the eGift Card arrive?

Koh eGift Cards are digital products, not physical items. They're sent by email to the recipient address entered at checkout. Delivery happens approximately 1 hour after the order is placed. This delay is intentional and matches the standard 1-hour edit window that applies to all Koh orders, customers can cancel or change details (including the recipient email on an eGift Card) within that window before anything goes out. After the 1-hour hold, the eGift Card email is automatically sent to the recipient.

The 1-hour delay is the standard order edit window applied to all Koh orders. It gives you a chance to cancel or change details (including the recipient email) before the eGift Card sends.


What if it hasn't arrived after 1 hour?

If more than 1 hour has passed since the order was placed and the eGift Card email hasn't arrived, the most common cause is the email landing in the recipient's spam, junk, or promotions folder. Check those folders first. The sender will be a Koh email address and the subject typically references the gift card or voucher. If it's genuinely not there, the second most common cause is a typo in the recipient email address at checkout. Use the Koh order status flow to look up the order and confirm what email address the eGift Card was sent to. If the address is wrong, the team can resend it to the correct address.

By far the most common cause. The eGift Card email comes from a Koh address with a subject referencing the gift card or voucher. If the recipient is on Gmail, also check the Promotions tab.

The second most common cause is a typo at checkout. Use the order status flow to look up the order and check what address was entered.
