Can I use Sensitive Hand Wash as a body wash?Updated 20 days ago
TL;DR: Sensitive Hand Wash is gentle enough for body use on most skin types and non-sensitive areas. It is not recommended for facial cleansing. For regular full-body use, Sensitive Body Wash is the better fit as it is specifically formulated for body skin.
Can I use Sensitive Hand Wash as a body wash?
Sensitive Hand Wash uses the same gentle, sulfate-free surfactants and is pH 5.5, so it will not strip body skin. If you are running low on body wash and reach for the hand wash in a pinch, that is fine.
That said, Sensitive Body Wash is formulated specifically for the body. It contains a richer combination of conditioning agents suited to larger skin surface areas and longer exposure in the shower. For day-to-day full-body use, Body Wash is the better choice.
Why is there a separate hand wash and body wash?
Hands get washed many times a day in short bursts. Body skin gets one longer wash per day across a much larger surface area. Different use patterns call for different formulations.
Both Sensitive Hand Wash and Sensitive Body Wash are fragrance-free, sulfate-free, and pH 5.5. The difference is in the conditioning blend. Body Wash is richer and designed for full-body use.

Fragrance-free, pH 5.5. HRIPT dermatologically tested. Eczema Association recognised. Made in Australia.
