No synthetic perfume, no perfume of any other kind and no essential oils are added to the formula. Because raw ingredient sourcing shifts a little, the aroma can vary slightly between batches. That is ingredient character, not an added fragrance.

Fragrance-free means no fragrance ingredient has been added to the formula. That covers synthetic perfumes, perfume blends of any origin, and essential oils. It does not mean odourless.
