How do I use Stain Remover?Updated 11 days ago

TL;DR: Pour Stain Remover into Foaming Spray Bottle, spray directly onto the stain, wait 5 to 10 minutes, lightly brush if needed, then wash as normal. Treat stains as soon as they happen and don't let them dry.

What do I need?

You need two products to use Stain Remover: the Stain Remover refill bottle, and the Foaming Spray Bottle that turns it into a foaming pre-treat. Both come together in the Stain Remover Starter Kit, which is the easiest option if you're starting fresh. If you already have a Foaming Spray Bottle from another Koh product, you only need the Stain Remover refill.

✓ Two products, three ways to grab them

Stain Remover goes into Foaming Spray Bottle, which turns it into a foam for targeted spray. The Stain Remover Starter Kit includes both, or grab them separately if you already have a Foaming Spray Bottle from another Koh product.

How do I use it step by step?

Pour Stain Remover into the Foaming Spray Bottle. Spray directly onto the stain until the area is evenly covered with foam. Wait 5 to 10 minutes for the foam to do its work. Gently agitate with a soft brush for tough spots. Then wash as normal according to the garment care label. Use full strength, don't dilute with water. Avoid wool, silk, cashmere, alpaca, rayon, viscose, and linen.

2

Spray the stain until the area is evenly covered with foam.

3

Wait 5 to 10 minutes so the foam has time to lift the stain.

✓ Steps 4 and 5

4

Gently agitate with a soft brush for tough spots.

5

Wash as normal according to the garment care label.

✓ For tricky stains

Treat as soon as possible. If you can't wash straight away, keep the area damp and reapply before washing. Repeat the spray, wait, wash cycle if needed rather than overusing product.

Treat fast Keep damp Repeat if needed

⚠ Fabric check

Not recommended for wool, silk, cashmere, alpaca, mohair, rayon, viscose, or linen. The enzymes can act on these fibres over repeated use, causing gradual weakening or pilling.

For anything unfamiliar, spot-test on a hidden seam first.

Not for delicate fibres Spot-test the rest

✓ Good to know

Compatible with septic and greywater systems when used as directed

Always follow the garment care label and your machine's instructions

Use at full strength. Don't dilute with water.
