Laundry dosing by wash size (Sheets vs Liquid)Updated 2 days ago
TL;DR: Dose to washer size and soil level. Small load: half sheet or 16ml (4 pumps). Normal: 1 sheet or 24ml (6 pumps). Large or heavy: 2 sheets or 40ml (10 pumps). Measure Sensitive Laundry Liquid with the Laundry Pump or Laundry Dosing Cup. Place Sensitive Laundry Sheets in the drum, not the drawer.
How to measure
There are two ways to measure Sensitive Laundry Liquid:
- Laundry Pump: each full pump dispenses 4ml. Use 4 pumps (16ml) for small, 6 pumps (24ml) for normal, or 10 pumps (40ml) for large loads.
- Laundry Dosing Cup: fill to the 24ml marker for a normal load, or the 40ml marker for a large or heavily soiled load.
Sensitive Laundry Liquid doses
Small load — 16ml (4 pumps)
Use for a small or lightly soiled load. Start here and adjust only if needed.
Normal load — 24ml (6 pumps)
Recommended for a normal load in most 5 to 8kg machines. Fill the Dosing Cup to the 24ml marker.
Large or heavily soiled load — 40ml (10 pumps)
Use for large or very dirty loads in 7 to 12kg machines. Fill the Dosing Cup to the 40ml marker.
Hand wash — 16ml (4 pumps)
Mix 16ml in 5L of water. Rinse well after washing.
Sensitive Laundry Sheets doses
Small load — half sheet
Sensitive Laundry Sheets are perforated for easy splitting. Great for small or lightly soiled loads and compact 2 to 4kg washers. Place in the drum before adding clothes.
Normal load — 1 sheet
Standard dose for a normal load in 5 to 8kg machines. Place in the drum before adding clothes.
Large or heavily soiled load — 2 sheets
For large or very dirty loads in 7 to 12kg machines. Avoid overdosing in small drums.
Hand wash — half sheet
Dissolve half a sheet fully in 5L of warm water, then hand wash. Rinse well.

Good to know
- One full pump of Sensitive Laundry Liquid = 4ml.
- The Laundry Dosing Cup has marked lines at 24ml (normal) and 40ml (large) on the inside of the cup.
- Pre-treat heavy spots with Stain Remover instead of increasing the dose for the whole load.
- Always place Sensitive Laundry Sheets in the drum first. Do not place them in the drawer.
