Why are my Koh Perks points showing as reversed?Updated 12 hours ago
TL;DR: "Reversed" points in your Koh Perks activity usually mean one of two things: a backend account adjustment when your loyalty account was first set up, or points that have reached their expiry date. Neither is caused by something you did, and your spendable balance is whatever the top of your account shows.
Why are my Koh Perks points showing as reversed?
✓ Account activation adjustment
When you first join Koh Perks, the system can create a balancing entry on the same day. It's an internal backend adjustment, not a deduction caused by a purchase or return.
✓ Points expiry
Points that have reached their expiry date are automatically removed from your balance and logged as a reversal. The reversal date matches the expiry date of the original points.
How can I tell which one applies to me?
Check the date of the reversal
Open your Koh Perks activity log and note the date next to the reversed entry.
Compare it to your enrollment date
If the reversal is within a day or two of when you first joined Koh Perks, it's an account activation adjustment.
Otherwise, it's likely an expiry
If the reversal is dated well after enrollment and lines up with older points reaching their expiry window, it's a normal expiry. Your current spendable balance at the top of your account is your true redeemable amount, regardless of what the log shows further down.
My reversed entry doesn't match either of those, what now?
If the reversal doesn't line up with either explanation, send us your account email plus the date and amount of the reversed entry. We'll look up the exact transaction in our loyalty system, confirm what triggered it, and put the points back if anything has gone wrong.
