What about stubborn or set-in smells?

Gym kit, sports gear, towels left damp in the basket and musty fabric from a wash backlog all want more enzyme contact time than a normal cycle gives. Fill a tub with warm water at around 30 to 40 degrees, warm rather than hot, add 16 mL of Sensitive Laundry Liquid per 5 litres, submerge the items and leave them at least 30 minutes. Give it a few hours if the smell is well established. Then run a normal wash cycle.
⚠ Not for wool, silk or other animal fibres
The enzymes in Sensitive Laundry Liquid break down protein fibres, and a long soak gives them plenty of time to do it. Keep it away from wool, silk, cashmere and alpaca. Hand wash those with a detergent made for wool and silk instead.
