What does each ingredient do?
Tap an ingredient to see what it does
Sodium dodecyl sulfate
A surfactant. Lifts grease, oil and particulate dirt off fabric so it rinses away during the wash.
Alcohols C12-14 ethoxylated
A surfactant. Works on oily and greasy marks, including in hard water areas.
Polyvinyl alcohol (PVA)
A water-soluble film. It lets the detergent travel dry and pre-measured, then dissolves in the drum, which is why there is no bottle to pour or store.
Cellulase
An enzyme. Targets grass, food residue and fibre soils, and helps keep fabric from looking fuzzy over time.
Protease
An enzyme. Targets protein stains like blood, sweat, egg and dairy.
Amylase
An enzyme. Targets starch stains like pasta sauce, gravy and baby food.
Trisodium citrate
A water softener. Handles hard water so the wash performs consistently wherever you live.
Sodium bicarbonate
Bicarb soda. Helps neutralise odours in the wash.
Kaolin
A fine mineral clay. Helps loosen particulate soils like mud and dust.
Glycerin
A humectant. Keeps the sheet flexible so it does not crack or go brittle in the pack. Vegetable origin rather than animal origin.
⚠ One fabric note
Because of the enzymes, wash wool, silk, cashmere, alpaca, rayon or viscose and linen with a cleaner made for those fibres instead. The enzymes can break down natural fibres.
Where can I find the Safety Data Sheet?
✓ Safety Data Sheet
The Safety Data Sheet is a standardised 16-section PDF covering hazard classification, first aid measures, handling and storage, and disposal. It is written for workplace safety officers, first responders and waste handlers.
For questions about ingredients or everyday use, the sections above and the product page cover the same ground in plainer language.
