Why we split Laundry Liquid & Stain Remover (and what changed)Updated 8 days ago
TL;DR: We retired Universal Laundry Liquid in mid-late 2024 and replaced it with Sensitive Laundry Liquid for the main wash, plus a dedicated Stain Remover for pre-treating. The new Laundry Liquid is a thicker, improved formula that is not compatible with the Foaming Spray Bottle. If you want a foaming pre-treat, use Stain Remover.
What changed and why
We listened
Our community told us they wanted stronger wash performance and a gentler experience for sensitive households. We reformulated and launched Sensitive Laundry Liquid.
New texture
The new formula is thicker by design for improved dosing control and wash performance. That extra viscosity means it is not suitable for the Foaming Spray Bottle. Decant from the bag-in-box into the Laundry Pump.
Purpose-built pre-treat
Many of you missed a foaming pre-treat. We created a purpose-built Stain Remover with five targeted enzymes and put all our learnings into it.
Side by side
Everyday and heavy-duty washing in machine and handwash. Thicker liquid for controlled dosing. Dose by load size and soil level, then run cycle as normal.
Foaming pre-treat directly on stains before the wash. Light, sprayable foam for spot treatment. Spray on stain, wait a few minutes, then launder.
How to choose
Use Sensitive Laundry Liquid for
Regular washing, sweaty gear, school uniforms, and mixed loads. Dose by load size and soil level.
Use Stain Remover for
Pre-treating localised stains like food, mud, sweat marks, and set-in marks before the wash.
Team them up
Pre-treat with Stain Remover, then run your usual cycle with Sensitive Laundry Liquid or Sensitive Laundry Sheets.
