Can I use a gift card during site-wide promotions?

TL;DR: Sometimes. During site-wide promos that include a bonus gift card (for example, “spend X, get a gift card”), our checkout platform may temporarily block gift cards as a payment method for orders that qualify for the offer. If your order total is below the promo threshold, you can usually still pay with a gift card.

Why is my gift card not working at checkout?

When a promotion includes a bonus gift card, the platform may disable gift card payments on qualifying orders. This is a known checkout limitation designed to prevent gift cards being used to purchase other gift cards.

When can I use my gift card?

• If your order meets the promotional spend threshold: gift card payment may be unavailable until the promotion ends.
• If your order is below the promotional threshold: you can typically use your gift card at checkout as normal.

What can I do instead?

• Place an order below the promotional threshold and use your gift card
• Wait until the promotion ends, then use your gift card on a larger order
• Place an order during the promotion to receive the bonus gift card, and save your gift card(s) for a future purchase once the promotion has ended
