Koh subscriptions can be paid with a credit or debit card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, UnionPay), a digital wallet (Apple Pay, Google Pay, Shop Pay), or PayPal. These are the methods that can auto-charge automatically on each renewal cycle. Afterpay and other buy-now-pay-later options like PayPal Pay-in-4 and Klarna are not available for subscription orders, regardless of order value, because they require manual approval per transaction. If you want to use Afterpay, place a one-off order instead of subscribing.

Afterpay and other buy-now-pay-later services (PayPal Pay-in-4, Klarna, Zip) require manual approval at each transaction. They split a single purchase into instalments and can't auto-charge recurring orders without you approving each one. Subscription orders charge automatically on a fixed cycle, so they're incompatible with the BNPL model. This isn't a Koh-specific limitation, it applies to subscriptions across most retailers using these payment providers. If you'd like to use Afterpay, place a one-off Koh order instead of subscribing, the same products are available either way.

Each subscription renewal charges automatically on the cycle you chose at checkout (every 1, 2, 3, or 4 months). The charge happens just before the order is dispatched, using the payment method on file. We send a renewal reminder a few days before each charge so you can skip, swap, or pause if needed. You'll receive an order confirmation email when the charge goes through. Your first subscription order is charged at checkout when you sign up, like any normal order.

Update your subscription payment method anytime in the Koh subscription portal at koh.com/a/account/login. Sign in with your account email, find your active subscription, and update the card or payment method. Changes apply to your next renewal. If a renewal payment fails (expired card, insufficient funds, etc.), updating the payment method in the portal will let the order retry.
